AI Writing Policy

Our journal recognizes the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and similar technologies in academic writing. While these tools can support language improvement and drafting, they must be used responsibly and ethically.

Acceptable Use of AI Tools

  • Authors are permitted to use AI tools only for the following purposes:
  • Language editing (grammar, spelling, clarity)
  • Improving readability and structure
  • Minor paraphrasing of author-generated content
  • Formatting assistance

AI must NOT be used to:

  • Generate core research content (results, analysis, discussion)
  • Fabricate data, references, or citations
  • Replace original scholarly thinking

AI-Generated Content Threshold
To maintain academic integrity, the acceptable limit for our journal :
AI-generated or AI-assisted content must not exceed 15% of the total manuscript

Caution Range:
15% – 25% requires editorial review and possible revision

Unacceptable:
Above 25% AI-generated content is subject to rejection

Mandatory Disclosure
Authors must clearly disclose AI usage in their manuscript under a section titled “AI Usage Statement”.

Example:
The authors used perplexity for language editing and clarity improvement. All scientific content, interpretation, and conclusions are the original work of the authors.

Failure to disclose AI usage may result in rejection or retraction.

Responsibility and Accountability
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, validity, and originality of their work. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Detection and Verification
The journal may use AI-detection and similarity-checking tools to assess submissions. If misuse is suspected, authors may be asked to revise or the manuscript may be rejected.

Ethical Compliance
This policy aligns with best practices in academic publishing and ethical guidelines such as those from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Editorial Rights
The editorial board reserves the right to request revisions, reject manuscripts that violate this policy, and update the policy as needed.
